We skipped school again – our teachers and counselors have been really supportive – and went to Silicon Slopes today. It is a huge tech conference held in Utah that attracts tech leaders, startups, and investors from around the world.
We listened to Jimmy Pitero, Chairman of ESPN; Reed Hasting, Founder and Executive Chairman of Netflix; Prashanth Chandrasekar; CEO of Stack Overflow; Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta; Tony Robbins the bestselling author; Will Grannis, CTO of Google Cloud; and Jim Lanzone, CEO of Yahoo.
We were invited into the suites of Kickstart Seed Fund and Peterson Ventures – thank you! They are both Venture Capital firms that invest in startups. We got to meet several members of their team, some startup founders, and even met a few crypto and fintech people that offered to help us with our first pitch deck.
It was a great day.
